Fargo Police officer hit by a drunk driver

They say a drunk driver hit a police officer’s car, with him inside.
Jacob Rheault (Roll) of West Fargo was arrested for drunken driving. The 26-year-old Rheault also was cited for driving with an expired license and driving too fast for the conditions.
It happened along 40th Avenue and 50th Street south around 1:30 today. The officer was blocking off a portion of the road when the intoxicated driver ran into his car.
The force of the hit made the officer smash his head on the steering wheel and the cage divider behind his seat. The officer did call for an ambulance, but told the emergency workers that he was okay.

He must have hit the car pretty darn hard for the officer’s head to hit both the front dash and the cage behind him. The officer must have terrible whiplash right about now.
the officer was parked in the middle of the westbound lane. the officer parked his squad suv in the middle of the white out. the person arrested from dui never received any medical care before being arrested for dui. was in Jail with a concussion. arresting officer told emt’s on scene that “he said he was ok and emt walked away from squad car.”
