Yankees senior vice president in charge of minor leagues, Mark Newman, was charged with a DUI late Monday night.
Newman, 60, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. in Tampa, according to the area sheriff’s web site.
He has been with the organization for 22 seasons and was released after posting a $500 cash bond.

Man Gets 4-Years for 27th DUI

Our region’s most notorious drunk driver will serve his longest sentence yet for his latest conviction.
Danny Boettcher, 57, Wadena, MN, who has 27 drunk driving convictions on his record, will serve four-years in prison.

Arizona Task Force Arrests 1053 for DUI

A task force targeting Arizona drunken drivers has netted 1053 arrests in the last two weeks.
The statewide task force Labor Day enforcement started August 21st and ends late tonight.
