Police have released a surveillance video of an officer subduing a Chesire official who was being booked on drunk driving charges.
The suspect, a retirement board member and a former town council candidate, became physically combative with an officer who had let him out of the booking cell so he could use the bathroom, police said.

DUI Checkpoints Scheduled For Prospect

The Prospect Resident Trooper’s Office will conduct a DUI enforcement spot check on Route 69 at Kluge Road on Thursday.
