Former USC linebacker Rey Maualuga, coming off his rookie season with the Cincinnati Bengals, has been arrested on drunk driving charges in northern Kentucky.
Maualuga was arrested at 3:11 a.m. EST today and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and with careless driving, according to Kenton County Jail records.

Visalia police will hold 2 DUI checkpoints

Visalia police officers will be stopping cars at two DUI checkpoints in Visalia this weekend, according to a department news release.
Police will be checking all vehicles at the undisclosed locations and arresting drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The operation is financed by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.

Ontario to crack down on drunk driving, speeding

The Ontario government will introduce tough legislation Tuesday, intended to crack down on dangerous driving.

Tucson Police to Hold DUI Checkpoints

Nearly $40,000 in state grant money has been awarded to the Tucson Police Department to help enforce traffic laws and prevent drunk driving, including a sobriety checkpoint scheduled for Friday.
