A western Pennsylvania couple are both charged with drunken driving in connection with the same vehicle crash and will enter a special probation program for first time offenders.

Police charged 45-year-old Robert Kotoff Sr. and his wife, 42-year-old Tina Kotoff, after their vehicle hit a tree in Daugherty Township on April 5. When police found the wrecked vehicle in a nearby mobile home park, they say Robert Kotoff claimed he was driving and caused the crash.

But police say witnesses told them Tina Kotoff was driving when the vehicle hit a tree, and that her husband drove it to the mobile home park afterward.

Both suspects will lose their licenses for 60 days, but can have their records expunged if they complete the probation they agreed to enter on Monday.
