Marion County DUI checkpoint announced for Friday on CR 475

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a DUI checkpoint from 8 to midnight Friday night in the area of the 5900 block of Southeast County Road 475.

The checkpoint is part of the Florida DUI Sustained Enforcement Program, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
“If you plan to drink, arrange to use a designated driver, public transportation, or a taxi,” the news release states. “Remember, if your breath alcohol level is ‘Over the Limit,’ or you are impaired, you’ll be ‘Under Arrest.’”
