‘Hills’ Star Stephanie Pratt Pleads Not Guilty to DUI Charges
The Hills star Stephanie Pratt did not show up in court Friday for a scheduled court appearance involving her arrest for DUI Oct. 18. Instead, she sent her lawyer, Jon Bryant Artz, to enter a not guilty plea to the charges on her behalf. Stephanie Pratt was arrested back in October after she was stopped by police on suspicion of DUI.
Pratt had been driving home after a birthday party for sister-in-law and castmate Heidi Montag. Pratt blew over the legal limit and was carted off to jail. She later admitted to drinking several glasses of champagne before getting behind the wheel. Pratt was released on $5,000 bail and formally charged with DUI.
Although she has pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge, Stephanie Pratt announced she would be entering rehab to deal with her alcohol issues. Pratt’s lawyer told the judge on Friday his client is willing to “serve a 30-day stint in live-in rehab, to avoid driving until she gets a valid license and to refrain from drinking to remain free on her own recognizance.”
When will celebrities learn that fame doesn’t substitute for sobriety behind the wheel of a car?

She probably thinks that if she’s in rehab for 30 days she can make a new reality show out of it.
