Harley Driver Struck, Recieves Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania DUI

05 03.09

In a Cumberland County, Pennsylvania early morning accident a motorcyclist is being charged with DUI after being struck and seriously injured by a women operating a motor vehicle. Not only that, but the women is walking away without a ticket.

The man accused of DUI in Cumberland County was under the influence of alcohol in Pennsylvania at the time of the crash, said Cumberland County District Attorney Dave Freed during a press conference Thursday at the Mechanicsburg police headquarters.

Freed said information from the ‘victims’ medical records from Hershey Medical Center, where he was treated following the crash, showed his blood alcohol content was higher than the legal limit when his Harley-Davidson was struck as he turned off of Walnut Street onto east Main Street around 2:40 a.m..

Freed would not say what the blood alcohol content was, or where police believe the driver was prior to the accident.

In a case like this a good DUI lawyer will get you a NOT GUILTY verdict. Case closed! Also, I’m not sure, but a personal injury lawsuit may be in order as well.
